Our Infant Classroom

Little Scholars is looking for experienced Infant and Toddler Teachers who love to teach, love to engage, and love to watch children develop into who they are meant to be!! We are looking for a fun and passionate person to grow our team!!!

Infant Teacher Responsibilities

Have a strong knowledge of Infant Development
Have strong communication skills
Individualize routine care by incorporating child's needs along with family practices

Prepare lesson plans to encourage learning according to Developmental Appropriate Practices as well as the Little Scholars Scope and Sequence

Assess children's learning and development
Use a variety of teaching methods
Design a positive and safe environment for children to learn
Partner with families by communicating with them about their child's development on an ongoing basis

Requirements

A minimum of 9 Child Development or EEC Teacher Certification
2+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
Must be over 21 years of age
Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
Sit on the floor and scrunch down to meet any child’s needs.
CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
